This printed silk satin handkerchief is inspired by the Papaya Trees in Binlang Xili, a nondescript residential area in Xiamen covered by thick greenery. Although this region lacks the exquisite scenery of a park or lakeside, the everyday setting inspires the designer - she contemplates the trivialities of daily life, offering a unique beauty which can be appreciated only by the heart.

Papaya Trees are a tough plant, bearing fruits in the harshest conditions. Nobody knows for sure whether they are grown by local residents, planted for community greening or grow naturally. The large radiation-shaped leaves are a luscious green, perfectly contrasting the yellow-gold fruits.
